Seeing as we have an I saw you thread for when people are out riding I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread to give a tip of the hat to people out doing trail work.

First mention goes to heckler and his crew for the recent work on Pangor.

Cheers!

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Thanks, have you ridden it yet? I’m torn on the new sharp left downhill corner, if it works sustainably or if it’ll turn into a new jankfest.

We had Franco ride by during the opening, one of the OGs on Pangor who got me enthused about sweat equity.

I saw you on Lower Crippler, wielding your chainsaw with the artistry of a renaissance painter. Sculpting your canvas with every 2-stroke of your brush, like painting one of their French girls.

Pangor.  I remember that trail. How’s it looking these days?

Fond memories of cedar smell and sunbeams through the trees.

Lots of wear from water and tires, I’ve tried to keep it as much OG as possible. I’ve been looking at 10-15 year old photos compared to now recently. The alignment could have been more sustainable in many places. I’ve put in 9 significant reroutes in the past 15 years to get water flow shut down.

It’s looking like some helpers are coming to maintain it on a more regular basis, we’ll see…

There’s a very obvious total “reroute” of Pangor that’s greatly reduced traffic…. Enough said. 🤣

Cedar can still be sniffed, but its getting harder to find.

Pangor.

A huge shoutout to the many sponsors and volunteers who have helped maintain this not forgotten trail which sees heavy use 7 days a week, 365 days a year, rain or shine!

Documented number of volunteer hours cumulative total, since 2011 (when documenting trail work started): 3511 volunteer labour hours over 13 years!

Thank you all! We know who you are.
