I had the same problem dorse. Password reset and it works fine now.

Hey Flip, the new system supports auto subscribing to responses to your comments. That's something you had cited as a problem with the old system.

The Disqus system is definitely more sophisticated, works cleanly, and once you're over the sign up (which transfers over to many other sites), it's super easy to use.

Thanks I think it's working now.

Oh it's working. You're even commenting about suppositories on the DebonAir post!

Too complicated for someone like me to figure out, I was just barely getting the old system dialled!
Not that you want to hear what I have to say anyways, but 2010 called and wants their Cutties back! Although the Canadian kickouts got a better ring to it :)

I was a hold out until this morning. Took all of a minute to have an account.

I'm digging that I can now edit front page comments to correct my horrible spelling and grammar.

You'll be missed Bryce. Like you I'm aware this isn't an ideal solution but it's what we've got to work with right now. I really hate to lose the perspective of people like you so I hope you'll re-consider.

The whole internet is getting like Microsoft.
If Ford had Microsoft's business model? When they came out with a new truck. They would hide the gas pedal hide the clutch. Make you hire a bunch of guys to teach you how to drive again.

doesnt't matter, my point is the old microsoft wanted everyone to be on THEIR OPERATING SYSTEMS. the new microsoft wants its software on EVERY MACHINE. big difference!

Sethimus is right that is an old Microsoft business model still valid I think. Except now with Windows 8. They have hidden the steering wheel. But don't worry Microsoft knows where you are going. LoL
