I would love to read more on tire deep-dives to expand on this type of knowledge and learning of tire/wheel impacts. For example:
* rim id - 27mm, 30mm, 35mm; 30mm is ubiquitous. Is it really best? If so, for what type of tire, width of tire?
* rim compliance - carbon vs alloy, 32h vs 28h
* tire width , 2.4, vs 2.6, vs larger, is 2.4/2.5 really best for most riders?
* rider size and weight - maybe 30mm id and 2.4 are best for 160lb riders, does this change if you're bigger/smaller?
* discipline/location impacts - xc, trail, etc.
