Motorbike vid was a great example of why the weather warning includes "..do not attempt to cross, turn around, this is serious $h!t" or something along those lines.

National Geographic's got a 3 episode series called "The Lion Ranger" about Kevin Richardson and his sanctuary. It's really worth the watch.

I think my favorite thing that regularly happens is going to NSMB and being reminded that it's Friday because the weekend warmup is posted.
More often than not as of late I'm shocked. Thought process goes "What!? No. It's only… It's Friday!"
