Snow Supply

Posted by Trevor Hansen on 2007-01-08

I got back from Florida on January 4th; I woke up the next morning for my first bike ride in three weeks and there was a foot of snow on the ground. I decided to ski up Fromme instead of trying the bike hike and slide because the snow looked too nasty. I think I made the right choice, I saw bike tracks that only made it one and half switchbacks then they bailed and it looked like they were walking their bikes downhill. I decided to ski up to Air Supply to check on my baby. When I got there I dropped in and had a tonne of speed so I figured I'd go for the first gap jump. I barely got my skis onto the tranny and kept on going for the next one. Same thing on this landing but I was heading into the woods for some bark sandwich so I bailed on the trail in a pile of snow. Here's some bad pics of my tracks. first jump first tranny tranny 1 to jump 2 jump 2 and tranny 2

Just a couple of photos from a session me and Newman did for Ride Guide this fall. We took the Ride Guide crew, well one guy to a North Shore secret spot. Hopefully the episode turns out ok. Photo props go out to Cam "Flash" McRae.

I was just cleaning up my computer as I get ready to head back to school and I came across some of my old photos, and a few new ones that I thought you might enjoy. So..... go ahead and enjoy! Sorry about the lack of quality of some of the shots, you'll have to forgive me. Jump bicycling and crazy conspiracies

Posted by Daniel on 2006-12-18

So yesterday I was sitting on my couch, eating cereal and watching TV, not planning on doing anything special through the day. Then my dog started barking like crazy, so I went to see who was on my door step, expecting someone trying to sell me something. Turned out it was Dylan Dunkerton! He wanted to go jump bicycling with Curtis Robinson and Micayla Gatto down the street from me. So off we went. We went to some jumps in North Van, then after we got bored, we went to another. This crazy guy came up to us in the middle of the forest at the jumps and started telling us about his crazy conspiracies! It was awesome. crazy conspiracies man g Curtis throwing a whip 8 me doing a twisted no footer, and Curt observing the sky After we met the conspiracies man, we jumped a bit and were looking forward to shooting some pics with super air Jay Sinclair and Doug Mcmillan. Sadly right before they arrived Dyl took a harsh fall and gave himself a gnarly concussion. Sorry Jay and Doug! Pics and vid by Dylan Dunkerton. Get better soon!

Sunshine For Christmas

Posted by Hayes on 2006-12-14

I hope everyone is enjoying the cold because I'm sitting in Byron Bay Australia. After spending 16hrs on a plane I have spent the last week hanging out on the beach (25-30 degrees), walking around and sampling any pub we could find in Surfers Paradise. My Bike is still sitting in my Dakine bike box but I now have air in the tires and itching to start riding soon. I will report back with what I find.
