What a week

Airsupply in the mid-afternoon sunWith the perfectly timed break in the rainy weather for my much needed reading break, I had a chance to catch up on a few things, riding, bathing and of course some trail maintenance on Airsupply. Though, the turn in weather has halted the construction of my Ark (after the 40 something days of rain), it did get me back on my bike with vengeance! The trail conditions were fantastic, especially on Fromme; with the snow line hovering just below the sixth switch-back, and the lower mountain conditions summer like (dry and tacky due to the cooler weather). I guess I did something right because we had nothing but sunshine for my whole week off. As I mentioned earlier I was able to get up to Airsupply and do some minor maintenance, but nothing could have possible prepared me for what I encountered!
