May Long Weekend

This weekend ended up being pretty sweet. I had been looking forward to riding all week, I just couldn't wait for friday. Finally friday came along, so I went dirt jumping at a local set of jumps. There were about 20 people there, it was awesome. Everybody was getting stoked on eachother and learning things from eachother. I learnt some new stuff, and i think the majority of the people there were all stoked on the scene. After riding, trever gatto, Graeme Meiklejohn and I hit up Denny's for some burgers and nachos. That was a good way to start off the long weekend.



Saturday I went up to whistler for the day, shredded with my freind Denton, and ended up doing some laps with Jeremy Schaab. Whistler was super fun, Aline was relatively buff for opening day, and same with the other trails. We did tonnes of runs on aline, which I'm pretty much addicted to. It was a super fun day, just a little muddy. No pics, but I'm going up with Brendan Howey, Luke fulton and the ssc lurks next weekend, so i'll have lots of shots for you then!

Sunday I wrote an essay for socials...plus it was miserbale weather so that was a write-off.

Monday was awesome. I met up with Dan Barham around 10am to shoot some photos at the local jumps. We showed up and the lip on the new trick jump was collapsed from the rain, so we dug for a bit before we did our thang. After a bit Gunth and his buddy showed up with tonnes of candy and chips, i was stoked! We shredded for a while, while Dan shot photos. Soon enough came Ryan Newman, aswell as Jay Sinclair, steve V, Geoff Livingston and a bunch of other dudes. It turned out to be a rad day. We removed the pesky stump in the run out of the trick jump, aswell as buffed the tranny, and rebuilt the lip again. Sadly I had to go home and finish off my essay before ian nelson came, but it sounded like an awesome session after that.
