Woodlot Session
After having a great time at the Woodlot last week with the Specialized crew (Buck, Chris, Jeff and Brandon), the STS crew ventured back the next weekend for more of the same. This time I wanted to hit up Blood Donors newest stunt.... I'm guessing a 15'x25'.After our group lost Eamonn on the climb (so called flat tire) and going down slippery "Crazy Carpenter", I knew that this manly drop was mine. Send in the probe !
I could tell that with this hit you needed a lot of speed. I figured 6 down and 1 stroke after the hump. After a couple of b*tch runs.... up, up and away !
Well.... I came about 6" short. My mark is on the left.
The result...
2nd day on the new wheels, my day was done. I was not happy... but sometimes you gotta roll with the punches.
First time for Eamonn at the 'Lot and how he managed to find us is beyond me but he showed up ready to represent. After telling him to pedal at least 2 strokes after the hump, he should be ok.
Up up and away !
The E-Dawg stuck it clean ! Nice work ED.
For me, it the dreaded "Walk Of Shame" back to the truck.
I'll be back and a big shout out to Hank at John Henry Bikes who keeps my rides rolling.
