Specialized Quietly Goes 650B
An auspicious sign that Specialized has gone beyond the R&D stage of the mid-size wheel today: 650B tires quietly appeared in their online catalogue and BRAIN confirmed the news.
The first 650B tires in the lineup are the Fast Trak S-Works 2.0, the Ground Control 2.1, the Purgatory Grid 2.3, and the Butcher Control 2.3.
It’s great to see Specialized’s excellent and affordable tire lineup going to the 27.5 size, but we can’t help but extrapolate this to their wheels, and of course, frames…
Could this spell the end for the beloved 26″ Enduro?

I wish it was the end of the 29er but sadly it's manufacturers and Gorbies trying to kill off 26″. At least Graves will be rocking the outdated wheel size on the circuit.
