Whistler Bike Park Update
From Dave Kelly and the Park Trail Crew

Most of the trails in the lower Park will be open. Dirt Merchant is 70% due to some moisture in the upper section, otherwise, it looks great. A-Line and B-Line are totally buffed, just like putting greens. B-Line received a facelift and a few botox injections so there are some nice rollers.

A-Line lips are crisp and inviting and the berms are smooth. Duncan did some great work on Schleyer, cleaning up the trannies and the corners. GLC Drops are buffed and waiting for the first rider to hit them. Work will continue all day Friday on the rest of the trails. The Biker-X is currently under construction under Richie's watchful eye. It will be the sickest Biker-X we have ever built and should be ready to go by the May 2-3 weekend. Assembly of the Boneyard will begin next week and should be ready to go shortly.

The longest season ever starts April 30, 2005, weekends only. The Park will be open daily from May 21, 2005. Fantastic spring skiing and riding up top and the Bike Park below mid-station make Whistler a mountain of fun.

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2005: The Bike Park will be bigger and better than ever!
Whether you are looking for the adrenaline rush of freeriding or just learning to mountain bike, we have something for you.

FREIGHT TRAIN: THE EVOLUTION CONTINUES
A massive 2200 vertical feet of legendary A-Line style riding: twice as long and with double the hits. Link Freight Train and A-Line and you have a machine sculpted ride with more than 200 tables, drops, berms and rolls. North America's biggest and best Bike Park continues to expand and evolve. Freight Train is the next connection.

Extended Play
Get ready to play later more often in 2005. The Bike Park will be open from 3:30pm for Extended Play on Saturdays only from May 21 - June 11, 2005.
