WHISTLER
OPEN 7 DAYS STARTING FRIDAY |
| Whistler, B.C., May 17, 2005 - The early season riding in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park has been so good that Whistler Blackcomb will open the Park for daily operations starting this Friday May 20. "Early season riding in the Park has been amazing, and the trails are in great shape, so we decided to start seven-day operations one day early," says Rob McSkimming, Whistler Blackcomb's VP of Business Development. "This bonus day will give riders the opportunity to take advantage of an extra long Victoria Day long weekend." Regular ticket prices apply. Saturday May 21 and Sunday May 22 mark the first Extended Play nights of the season. During this time the Bike Park will remain open until 8pm. This weekend's Extended Play tickets will include a $10 voucher good at the Garibaldi Lift Company, located right at the base of Whistler Mountain, in the heart of all the action. Whistler Mountain remains open for skiing and riding until June 5, delivering 2,400 acres of terrain for all to enjoy. A low lift ticket price of $45 will get the truly adventurous up the mountain for skiing or snowboarding and mountain biking all within the same day. |
