Effective June 1st, Summit Sport will become the exclusive Manitou full service centre in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Located directly at the base of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, Summit will carry a complete stock of Manitou fork and shocks parts, with Manitou certified technicians for any service work. Additionally, Summit will carry Manitou suspension forks and shocks and will have ten Rocky Mountain downhill rental bikes on hand featuring Manitou front and rear suspension. >
"The last few years have seen substantial growth for Manitou in the Canadian market, with Whistler being one of our main focus points. We realized the need for a strong service program in the village, but we knew finding the right partner was extremely important to the program's success," says Joel Smith, Director of Brand Management and North American Sales for Answer Products. "We've found just that with Summit and we see this as the start to a positive, long term relationship."
Established in 1987, Summit is the largest independently owned ski, bike, and board shop in Whistler. They hold the distinction as the only Official Rocky Mountain Bicycles Rental Centre in the world.
