Cameras rolling? Rider ready? Rise to the occasion! Our lenses are focused on the World's best riders in their element - taming big mountains and terrain features. The finished product will not be just about cloudless skies and big "hucks" though, because RISE is about the lifestyle of
action-sport athletes and mountain bikers. The sort of people who work the night shift so they can ride all day or spend all their spare time in the forest building trails in the rain.

What is it about mountain biking that so consumes us that our whole life revolves around it? Why do we ride? From hairball gap jumps to epic journeys, RISE explores these questions.

Mountain bikers all share a common bond that transcends religious backgrounds, income levels, education, and even riding style or ability. This movie is about the simple love of riding a bike that so many different people around the World enjoy - turning the pedals, spinning two wheels across mountains and dirt, and leaving behind the industrial disease of city life.

Cory Leclerc - the boy's never been quite right

Riding is an opportunity to enjoy life in the mountains and - for a few hours anyways - step out of the nine-to-five routine. It's about spending hours in the driveway learning how to wheelie. It's about that amazing feeling you get when you visualize a trick and then pull it off for the first time. It's about being stoked on what your buddy just did and trying to add your own influence to it.

Fink - le nouveau école

This movie will be for all those mountain bikers who share that common bond, and know what its like to push their personal limits. From World Cup racers trying to squeeze out another tenth of a second, to the 15 year-old kid who delivers firewood to keep his bike running - MTBFilms is trying to reveal how mountain biking means something different to every rider.
