Ride a Trek in the Alps with Big Mountain

Vancouver Tour Company Hooks up with
U.S. Bike Maker for Unique Opportunity

VANCOUVER, B.C. - Big Mountain Bike Adventures is very proud to announce that participants on its Swiss trips will have the chance to ride a 2006 Trek Remedy 66.

“This really takes it to another level,” says Chris Winter from the Big Mountain headquarters in Vancouver, B.C. “To be able to leave home with your helmet and shoes in a bag, hop the plane and be greeted in Geneva by your guides and a brand new 2006 Trek Remedy 66 is … over the top. The trails in Switzerland are like candy, riding them on a Remedy 66 is like a kid having free reign in a candy factory.”

The Trek Remedy 66, waiting to rip in Switzerland

Winter has been riding Treks in the Swiss Alps for several years now, often logging over a quarter of a million vertical feet of descending in a summer and tens of thousands of vertical feet of climbing. “On our all-mountain trips, many of our clients are on either freeride bikes or XC bikes, which definitely do the trick. But the new 6-inch all-mountain bikes that are coming out are absolutely perfect for our trips, especially our signature all-mountain trip, Cloudraker. I can’t wait to get over there and roll the trails on my Remedy!”
