Lenosky wins Myopic

Myopic was Ryan Senechal's response to be being told by other park users to "Go Back To The Forest." It was held on January 17th and by all accounts it was a very cool comp. Here is what Ian Hylands had to say.
| Myopic was Ryan Senechal's response to be being told by other park users to "Go Back To The Forest." It was held on January 17th and by all accounts it was a very cool comp. Here is what Ian Hylands had to say. Jeff Lenosky won the event, his first ever non-trials mtb win. This was also the first street contest that I know of in recent history that has been won without a backflip. Jeff pulled a couple of huge moves including a big transfer from the
quarter pipe into the mini ramp, a sprocket stall on the sub wall in front
of the judges in his first run, and a huge fufunu on the same sub wall
in his second run. Aaron Chase came second with an incredible second
run that saw him pretty much destroy the course, doing fufunu's on almost
every railing as well as all of his regular moves including a handplant
over the spine, 360 tire taps and several hurricanes. |

Utah's Von Williams placed third with a really nice run that had crazy flow all over the park. Craig Robinson placed fourth riding with the front wheel of his mom's commuter bike after destroying his own wheel in practice. Vancouver's Josh Straat tied for fifth with Jim Dellaville.
