Darren Berrecloth Takes First Place
at Monster Park '05

Bearclaw Continues His Run of Dominance at Snowshoe, West Virginia Event



Snowshoe, WV (July 3, 2005) – Race Face team rider and freeride phenom, Darren Berrecloth stepped to the top of the podium once again last weekend by defending his title as BIKE Magazine Monster Park champion.

The 2nd annual slopestyle competition was held at Snowshoe, WV and featured 26 of the world’s top freeride stars.

Over 1,000 fans bore witness to Bearclaw’s winning run, which featured his signature 360 drop, this time launched from a 25-foot ladder bridge.

These loyal aficionados also saw fellow Race Face rider Paul Basagoitia take second place at the Irish Springs Cleanest Jam comp, with a 360 tailwhip out of the quarter pipe.

Bearclaw and Paul Bass’ next stop will be Whistler’s Crankworx Freeride Mountain Bike Festival, August 3-7, where they’ll once again be up against the mountain bike world’s best.
