I knew there were a lot of great photographers shooting mountain biking, but I underestimated the numbers. In a single day we've received over 150 quality shots making Sterling Lorence's (the February judge) job a lot harder. Initially I thought things would start slowly so we were going to choose the first winner on the 12th of February. That's out the window for sure so we'll have the first weekly finalist chosen by Monday the 6th - when we'll also open the second week's gallery. Below I'll post a few of the shots that caught my eye thus far so you can check them out. Note: The fact that I happened to like these shots will have no influence on the judging. Sterling knows more about a good shot than I will ever know.
