Mad March Camp at Silver Star
Get some schooling from the best teacher in the business.
July 29-31

Mad March Racing is teaming up with the Silver Star SameSun Hostel for a 3 day freeride/downhill camp at the Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, BC. The camp includes 3 days and 3 nights on hill lodging, meals, coaching, and lift tickets.

This is a FreeRide and Downhill focused camp. Riders should be comfortable riding at intermediate to expert race speeds. All ages are welcome. Shaums will cover drops, jumping, line choice, cornering, bike set up, and race strategy.

Silver Star is a mere 22 km (12 miles) northeast of Vernon in British Columbia. The mountain has some incredible mountain biking - a quick 7.5 minute ride time to access 1,600 vertical feet of trails in Silver Star’s expanded bike park on the Comet Express, Canada’s largest mountain bike chair lift.

Only 4 spots remain! Visit madmarchracing.com for camp details and registration.

Editor's note:
Last summer I had the chance to experience a morning of Shaums' instruction and it did nothing less than revolutionize my riding.  If I'm having a bad day I call on some of the tips Shaums gave us and I'm back on track.  I'm much better in berms, at speed and cornering in any situation.  Shaums teaches you  to use the terrain to your advantage and he is a fantastic teacher.  Don't miss an opportunity to let Shaums teach you to ride faster, more smoothly and with more confidence.

Another bonus is riding at Silver Star.  The entire nsmb team was up there this past weekend and the new trails that have been built are some of the most fun I have ever ridden.  I'll be following up with our impressions of the terrain next week but suffice to say the place is phenomenal.  You will love it.
