Klunkerz The birth of mountain biking and downhill racing documented by Billy Savage |
Hey There,
I just thought I'd let you know that I'm having the 'World Premiere' of my feature-length
documentary, KLUNKERZ, at the Mill Valley Film Festival in October. It is the
first film of it's kind, with interviews from all the original legendary mountain
bike pioneers, and some of the more obscure characters who influenced them.

The festival is the largest Fall film festival in California. The festival is
held the first two weeks of October, but actual screening times for KLUNKERZ
have yet to be announced. The press conference announcing 'official selections',
screening times, and dates will be held on September 13th. After the screening
there will be a party with members of the press, as well as the cast and crew.
It will be a who's who of the mountain bike world. Some of the more lesser-known
characters, like the MTB hall of famers the Morrow Dirt Club (Cupertino Riders)
will be on hand, as well as the usual suspects from Marin County. This will
be the biggest mountain bike news to come out of Marin since Gary Fisher got
a 4:22 racing down Repack. Thanks for your time and I hope to see you at the
