North America ’s premier traveling mountain bike skills instruction program announces its 2007 camp dates and locations |
For the seventh consecutive season, the Dirt Series is taking to the road, venturing from its Whistler base to mountain bike destinations throughout Western Canada and the US. Designed to offer professional, enthusiastic and supportive instruction to participants of all levels, the Dirt Series motivates beginner riders, cross-country dedicates, and freeride enthusiasts alike.
“We couldn’t think of a better environment in which to debut and demo our new Ladies Only bikes,” says Elena Ouliankina, Marketing Manager at Rocky Mountain Bicycles, longtime supporter and current title sponsor of the Dirt Series program.
Over the course of a weekend camp, limits are overcome, plateaus are surpassed, and most significantly, riders become more confident in their abilities, and more excited about mountain biking than ever before.
Partner sponsors Sugoi, Luna, Fox Racing Shox, and Dakine, are helping take the Dirt Series by Rocky Mountain Bicycles further in 2007, to new locations in Bellingham, Washington and Park City, Utah, as well as established venues throughout BC, Alberta, Oregon, and California.
The Dirt Series, originally established as a women’s only program, is also featuring two co-ed camps to its current schedule, as well as select corporate retreats and presence at a number of larger scale events.
However, no matter how the program grows, one thing that will never change is its dedication to world class coaching and instruction. If you look at the teaching staff you’ll see a list of national and international mountain bike accolades, but if you attend a camp you’ll find that all that matters to those athletes is how much they can help the participants learn, and how much fun they can bring to the process.
“The best part of the entire program is getting to see the riders progress, building an exceptional learning environment, and witnessing the confidence and delight it creates,” says Candace Shadley, Founder and Director.
