Crankworx To Air On Sportsnet TV




Whistler, BC - Showcasing Whistler Blackcomb's freeride mountain bike playground, CrankWorx amps up the volume with the ultimate celebration of progressive mountain biking. The event, held this past July 22 - 24 2004, will be televised on Sportsnet across Canada over the next two weeks. Watch the world's best freeride athletes compete for $25,000 in cash in the Air Downhill, the Nissan Biker Cross, the 3,400 vertical foot Garbanzo Downhill - one of the longest downhill races on the planet, the B.C. Downhill Provincial Championships and the CrankWorx highlight, the "invitation only" Siemens Mobile Slopestyle.

CrankWorx features the sport's most popular athletes including superstars Cedric Gracia, Nathan Renne, Timo Prizel and Brian Lopes as well as local B.C. Rippers Wade Simmons, Richie Schley, Tyler Morland, Thomas Vanderham and Gareth Dyer.
