Robbie Bourdon Update

To all our friends, families and industry supporters:

On behalf of Freeride Entertainment, Kona, Red Bull and Oakley we are happy to bring you the first positive news on Robbie’s accident.

We have delayed doing this until such a time that Robbie’s injuries were diagnosed and we could bring light on the future.

To clarify Robbie was in a single car accident on Friday June 13th Robbie and his girlfriend were passengers in a car, which left the road and rolled about 30 ft down off an embankment.

Robbie has been in intensive care since this date and is hopefully due to be released any day now. His situation has been stabilized and at this moment it is just a matter of time for recovery. His injuries include internal injuries and broken bones. He is expected to make a near 100% recovery within 3 to 6 months.

This accident would have killed most people but for those of you that have met Robbie know that he is a tough kid and a true survivor.

I’d like to thank everyone for there full support. We are working on a bit of a donation plan for Rob’s parents to help endure the costs of the expensive health and travel costs associated with the accident.

Donations can be addressed to:

Thank you all. Any further questions can be directed to:
