Baldface Lodge


It's been in the works since the spring of 2004. The permits are all in the place, and the time has finally come to test the waters at what, could be, the world's premier back-country MTB resort. The snow-cat skiing industry's largest and best destination, Baldface Lodge, is STOKED to now offer the same winter experience to mountain bikers in the summer.

Baldface is known for its amazing service and quality outdoor vacations - the bike trips will be no exception. Last year, a crew of the industry's best trail builders, as well as, pro riders like myself and DropIn star, Shawn Denny, assembled to develop trails for advanced guided touring. Our crew members, who had perviously worked on movies and TV shows like New World Disorder, Kranked, DropIn TV, and at resorts like Panorama Ski Resort and Whistler Mountain, spent months living at the lodge last summer and fall while we created some of the most epic and beautiful trails in the world.

As a result, this summer Baldface Lodge will open it's doors for four - 4 day trips between Aug 25th and Sept 5th. Every trip will include the 1st class service, meals and accommodations that have made Baldface Lodge a world-class destination. And of course, this means buff trails, beaches, heli drops, hotsprings, and some of the most spectacular scenery in BC. We don't skimp on the vert either - the trails at the lodge descend a minimum of 2300 vertical feet. Guests will also get the pleasure of riding Nelson, BC's world class trails.

These aren't the short little trails that you hit in an hour. Baldface guides will take you to Nelson's highest trailheads with exclusive access granted specifically for this trip. Each trail will descend to the lake with meals and wheels waiting at the bottom to shuttle you back for more. To finish it all of, the bird will fly you as high as we can take you for last run. If guests are up for it, it's possible to get over 22,000 vertical ft. in one day in Nelson - without ever setting your wheels down on the same trail twice.
