| NORTH VANCOUVER—Cove Bikes has signed
local prodigy Geoff Gulevich to a two-year contract. The 16-year-old up-and-comer
will be the Cove’s freeride front man for 2004/05.
Gabe Fox, Cove's new sales and marketing manager had this to say about
their new acquisition; "we're are stoked to have Gulevich on the
program, he knows what’s going on with the new school and will bring
a youthful approach to the crucial freeride market."
With four years riding under his belt Gulevich has gained a reputation
as a confident rider by consistently stomping big technical tricks. Lately,
he’s been dirt jumping like a bat out of hell.
“He has a flowing style and a good eye for progression and making
new tricks. He’s a persistent little bastard, but he’s also
mellow, well spoken and sharp,” according to Dave Watson.
Cove Bikes feels that an investment in Gulevich is an investment in the
future of the sport.
