Bike Park BC announces 2008 Ultimate Road Trip winners!

Bike Park BC’s “Ultimate Road Trip” gives you the ultimate British Columbia experience!

 

It is finally here, Bike Park BC is pleased to announce the 2008 Ultimate Road Trip winners for an ultimate mountain bike park odyssey in beautiful British Columbia.

Two “Ultimate Road Trip” winners have won a weeklong trip with their guest on either an eastern or western mountain biking tour, starting July 26th. Tours feature Panorama Mountain Village, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, and Silver Star Mountain Resort or Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Sun Peaks Resort followed by a stay at Whistler during Kokanee Crankworx.

Sue McBride, of Palo Alto, California, Wendy Morriseau of Nanaimo, BC, Patrick McEnaney of Duluth, Minnesota and David Thomson of Whitehorse, Yukon, with their guests, will enjoy the full VIP treatment on the Ultimate Road trip. Along with their accommodation, meals and special events, Ultimate Road Trip prize winners receive the use of 2008 XLT Series Freeride bikes from Marin, complete with full riding gear, team jerseys, plus professional guiding and coaching from the reigning World Masters Downhill Champ, Shaums March, of MMR Bike Camps.

Western tour winner, Patrick McEnaney adds, “I yearn for my next (ride) session on the Ultimate Road Trip mountain tour.” And finally sharing his win with his riding buddy Jeff; David Thomson, eastern tour winner states, “The Bike Parks BC Ultimate Road Trip tour could be our last hurrah... a way to thank Jeff for being a great friend.”

Along with our grand prize winners, two spot prizewinners were also chosen - Chris Wilkins of Lew Beach, New York and second prizewinner, Jeff Austin of Victoria, British Columbia, winning various products from our valuable sponsors.

Spot prizes are still being drawn every two weeks throughout the summer until September 4, 2008. Prizes include a new Marin Quake 7.2 full-suspension mountain bike frame, prizes from Kenda, Hayes, Clif , Ryders Eyewear, ODI and WTB.
