The Trek/Fisher demo will coincide with the City of Burnaby’s Opening Ceremonies for their new Skills Park. The opening ceremonies will run from 11:00am till 11:30. Presenters will include the city’s mayor, the president of the Burnaby Mountain Bike Association and Jay Hoots, the course designer.
Ride a Trek or Fisher from 11:30am through to 5:00pm. The 20 foot Trek trailer will be on hand - packed with Trek EXs, Remedys and Fisher Hi-Fis among others. Demo riders must be at least 18 years of age or have a guardian sign for them. A driver’s license and credit card are required to sign the bikes out. The skills park is located at the intersection of Barnet Hwy and Marine Drive. On the North side of Burnaby Mtn. ![]() |

Check out this thread...http://bb.nsmb.com/showthread.php?t=110460 Lot's more info. I drive past there on my way home from work most days and it looks like it will be awesome. We've stopped by after they where done working and walked around and it is sweet! There's a huge (8'x35') curved wallride that's almost a 180, berms, jumps, skinnies, mini rock gardens etc. You could probably spend hours there and not get bored.

I scoped it out tonight. Two wallrides, one is huge. Some big tables, a step up, a smaller stepdown, a pump track, some cool bridgework, some bad ass berms, its pretty killer looking.

Steve and I were there tonight too. There are a bunch of smaller jumps that aren't done yet. It actually looks pretty good. Tax money actually put to good use.

They have to work really hard if they want it open on time, but it looks like there will be an overlap of the park being open and stuff being worked on. The park looks amazing though.
