2004 Shimano XT components

Until recently if you weren't riding SRAM/Hayes your freeride rig was likely adorned with XT. It seems that now that Saint has arrived the XT Gruppo is pushing back towards the XC roots - it is after all primarily designed for cross country riders. I wonder how 'dual control' levers will go over with the freeride/DH crowd. No word yet on big rotors. Saint will probably be expensive so it is pretty likely that many riders will be buying bikes with XT spec. or they will choose to purchase it aftermarket. Let's hope it meets our needs.
What follows is a release from Shimano. cm
