I get sent stuff I'd like to post all the time but often it's not yet ripe.
Mike MacRae sent me these shots but told me Wade asked him to keep them off the
net. I wouldn't do Wade wrong so I checked in with Rocky. At first
they were a little reluctant but eventually I prevailed so I can now show you
Mike's lift line photos of the 2008 prototype DH bike. It's slightly different
than the one that went to Scott Beaumont in that it doesn't have a floating disc
mount but otherwise we can assume they are similar frames.

I'll leave it to the suspension engineers on our bulletin boards to disseminate
the suspension design but it seems to me to be a derivative of the Slayer's
linkage.

We already have a thread talking about the new Rocky DH after Silver Fish sent
us those frustrating teaser shots. Now that we have the real deal the speculation
can end and the analysis can begin in earnest. What
do you think now that you've seen it?
