presents the Rock Shox CBC Ripper |
If fun isn't your cuppa there's no need to read on. Silliness has become the dominant theme of the CBC Ripper for the last couple of years and the spirit continues to spread. To that end we gave some of the best prizes last year to the riders in the best get ups.
The CBC Ripper works like this; we mark the trail beforehand and assign time bonuses for stunt sections. If you enter and exit a section you'll get a time bonus. If you'd prefer you can just roll right through (we gave someone a prize last year for not attempting a single bonus section) and ride it like a DH. You can also choose to ride some stunts and avoid others. It's all up to you.
At the end we'll calculate a corrected time based on what our marshalls see and give you a final clocking. When it's all done we'll have a party at the Hurricane Grill, show you some video from Dave at Whistler Action Video. We'll even put on a slide show.
As usuall all proceeds will go directly to the nsmbA.

Jason Winter was not in costume at last year's CBC Ripper. He was just on his way to a Motley Cruë gig.
