This is true, your seat would return to the same place each time, however, I
rarely find a few millimeters makes a huge difference in how I feel about my
seat.
My personal opinion is that it isn't worth the extra clutter on the bars. I
would rather have to get off my bike and move my seat than have an extra line.
That and my background tends to point me in the direction of minimizing things
that can break.
