Isn't the current assumption for north shore trails that they are all for 'non
motorized' use only? If this is the case then it's not even up for discussion,
e-bikes have motors, and are therefor banned on current trails. When the NSMBA
applied for the Aviva Community Fund Grant, one of the excerpts from the grant
application was, 'To create a network of multi-use, non-motorized trails to
provide access to youth and novice cyclists" Non motorized means no motors,
sorry guys, no e-bikes.
