Gee Atherton’s Nasty 2015 Worlds Crash
Gee’s effort and amazing pace clearly show how his commitment to winning, but a nasty crash (perhaps from snagging a pedal?) ended his pursuit of gold. It didn’t end his run though and Gee saddled back up and ripped down the rest of the track.
I don’t think I’d be finishing my run, let alone staying pinned, after a crash like that.

Nuts. Did he have his left cranks down and dig that rock? Hard as nails to get back up and finish the track. Sooooo steep.
