Vid - The Season 2.2

Kevin Landry and Jeremy Norris

Date: 2011-12-04

Kevin Landry and Jeremy Norris both moved west to the mountain biking mecca of Squamish with the same goal in mind -- ride as much as possible and create their own vision of mountain biking. As luck would have it, they would move into home right across the street from one another, forge a friendship and begin sniffing around for new lines and trails. Curiosity powers mountain biking's evolution, so Kevin and Jeremy went looking.

Let the search begin... That looks like a great trail - but it's likely under snow now. Thoughts?

That was the worst video ever!
This video does more harm to the sport because it is so BLOODY GAY!
The narration and interviews made me want to break my computer screen so i shut it off.

You are going to love the second episode then!

I didn't realize that adults still used gay as a derogatory term. Perhaps you aren't an adult. Anyway...

Watch here...

I guess Cam agrees with the statement but would choose a different word to describe it....

Painfully irritating?

Its Mountain biking so lets see RIDING!!! No one needs a life story unless your Steve Peat or Wade Simmons.

This isn't new actually, we're just having more people use it now. In the article discussion BB you can reply to a thread without logging in, but that comment goes through the moderation queue. I could delete the wanky posts but I don't unless they contravene our terms of use.

I don't agree and I love story telling. Bike porn is everywhere and, when told well, I think everyone's story is interesting.

These vids are great and I'm not surprised that the neg comments come from random humans.

After watching a crap load of winter stuff with my crew recently, the group consensus is that banger footage moves into the yawn zone pretty fast these days.

A good backstory will always have a place.

As I said in the "Inside Out" thread. I still don't think anyone has found the right formula yet. There were a couple guys a while back that had it.....lol

its just oversaturated, with very few people thinking outside the box, and the bar is set higher than ever (ie. we have high expectations).
as you know, its a lot of work to make an interesting video, and everyone has easy access to high quality cameras for not much money these days, plus no one does anything without a go-pro.

films like "life cycles" are still enjoyable to watch, and the coastal crew is making some nice stuff. matt dennison (? spelling) is making nice stuff too (ie. arthur's recently ladies only video).

at the end of the day, watching someone ride is no substitute for the real thing.
