nsmbA AGM Thurs.

Last year’s nsmbA AGM announced the TAP trail adoption program, which in 2011 resulted in a rejuvenation of Mt. Seymour’s trail network. TAP did more than just leave a legacy of more sustainable trails; it also opened the discourse and practice of trail maintenance to a wider audience. With TAP, many riders and non-riders were introduced to good building practices and the mentorship of working with experienced trail builders.

2011 also saw a return of Toonie racing on the North Shore. With three races on Fromme and one on Seymour, riders of all levels were challenged to push their limits against the clock. We’d love to see more races held by the nsmbA next year.

As the nsmbA says, getting involved means more than just having an opinion. So, if you’d like to see more resources directed toward trail maintenance and local racing, get out there and get involved! There are a variety of ways in which you can help out the nsmbA. Come out to the AGM and have your say.
