From the Inside Out - Coming December 1st
Earlier this morning we released the official trailer for From The Inside Out – the premiere film from SecondBase, a joint production company owned by Anthill Films and the Coastal Crew.
From the Inside Out will be available December 1st, 2011 in a special edition DVD+BluRay combo pack and on over twenty iTunes stores world-wide. The world premiere will take place October 27th in Whistler BC and currently over forty premiere tour events are currently scheduled to take place before December 1st.
Written, directed and edit by the Coastal Crew and produced by Anthill Films, From the Inside Out was filmed entirely in British Columbia, the birthplace of freeride, and features some of the sport’s best riders, including: Brandon Semenuk, Steve Smith, Thomas Vanderham, Matt Hunter, Graham Agassiz, Mike Hopkins, Kenny Smith & The Coastal Crew.

This is a film by riders, for riders. As the Coastal Crew puts it: “Many past films, riders, and locations have inspired us. Some of those locations are now our backyards, and some of those riders are now our friends. From the Inside Out is our adventure to the places we've always wanted to ride, and our expression of the lines and styles that have influenced us. This is freeride mountain biking. This film is from us – the riders.”
Fans can support the filmmakers direct by pre-ordering the DVD+BluRay combo pack now. Visit secondbasefilms.com to find out more and to view current premiere tour dates.
From the Inside Out is made possible by Mountain Biking BC, Rock Shox, Sombrio, Evoc, Chromag, Pink Bike and SCOTT Sports. Additional support for the film is provided by Contour, Trek, Specialized and Devinci.

The ubc cycling club will be hosting a second showing of the film hopefully the week of nov 7 so if you can't make the premier, never fear!
Am I the only one hoping for something other than the usual CC movies? I like em, but they all sort of seem the same. Just wondering if there'll be a story, or something different?

Lets see some stuff that has been blown through a Flame system and a Lustre or Baselight. Use color as a story for example.
I own Flame/smoke/lustre if anyone really wants to use them. Let me know...
This one looks lame. I'm positive they worked hard and the riding is great - but get original please.
1. Nice little intro - check
2. Epic landscapes - check
3. All shot in Best Place On Earth To Ride Bikes - check
4. Different riders, with different styles - check
BRING IT ON!
Although I'd love to listen to some different kinds of music, and not only this synthesizer pop whatever.
1) Nice little intro - same as always.
2) Epic Landscapes - I agree, but drop the cheesy word.
3) One of many places that are great. Don't flatter yourself.
4) Different riders??? Really? Yes, different humans, same ol' riders. Bore us more.
Seriously though, this college project my be shot well, good riders... I'm sure of all that.
But let's start to create some new stuff around here. Go check out the New Zealand dude on the home page. That is a great piece that stands out against all of this draub.

^Next Friday I will have to pregame before the showing
sick, that'll satisfy me until Koochdogs game-changer film drops
but seriously,I know what you mean, its a simple formula, maybe even repetitive. But it works for most riders who just wanna see pros rip. Its bike porn.

I am so sick of seeing films like this.
Three guys (two of whom are Rampage veterans) that build, ride and film all their own goods at the top of the game.
Exclusively showcase our utopia like province.
Same old crap in every other film like train gaps, houseboat shuttling, searching the deepest of nowhere to build epic zones for film and pumping unsung riders like Kenny Smith.
So unoriginal.
Can't believe they even bother to get out of bed.

And to be refreshingly honest - I am not from BC, but personally I think it is THE place to ride, and probably live as well.
I'm putting on a premiere in Calgary at The Plaza Theatre in Kensington on Nov. 10 at 7pm. Buy your tickets through Calgary Cycle, Pure Cycle, or myself!
For all those doubting this...do you have any idea how hard these boys worked to create this? Every one of these riders is incredible on and off their bike. It's gonna rock.
Anybody have details on the Vancouver premiere?
