World Champs Vids

The vidflow has begun from Worlds in Canberra Australia. It’s a pedal intensive course and last year Greg Minnaar took it by five seconds (as a normal WC round – not the World Champs) followed by Nathan Rennie and Gee Atherton. Peaty would have been on the podium last year were it not for a nasty gust of wind that blew him off track near the end of the course. Maybe this is finally his year to win the only title that has eluded him.

Look out as well for Fabien Barel – always dangerous at Worlds – Mick Hannah and the usual selection of young guns to be factors as well.

Got any predictions about who will wear the rainbow stripes in 2010? Lay them down here…

DH Timed Practice from Friday
The running order for the race will be based on UCI ranking and without the regular World Cup top 80 qualifying rule. Therefore there is no official use for todays results, however it offers an opportunity for riders to get a good idea of where they’re at.

4X Worlds are Done.
