I've just rolled in to Utah with Dan Barham and Dave Ferguson. On the way to Springdale we stopped to hear some tales of hugeness from Cory Leclerc, Margus Riga and Wade Simmons. It sounds like this year's Rampage will make previous ones seem like child's play. In the words of Cory Leclerc "some riders are stoked and scared and some are just f#$%ing scared."

Cory figures that so far Gee Atherton is on the next level compared to the other athletes here and that Cedric Gracia and Robbie Bourdon are also looking very strong. The word on Thomas Vanderham is that he feels about 90% after a severely broken humerus early in the season. Steve Romanuik has had to remove hiself from the competition because of a sore knee and Ben Boyko is out with a bad back. Kenny Smith has apparently been given a spot to top up the roster.
