Sea Otter has not really been a place the big brands debut bikes for a while now, unfortunately for all of us.
I don't know if I've ever seen a Rolex or Patek (etc) at a bike show at least on a true industry person. Maybe back in my euro days, but it would have been on a tie-wearing Italian sales guy, and only the Italians could show up to a bike show looking like that (and hacking darts, usually) and not be laughed out of there, and that was 20 years ago.
I think that wearing a Rolex around bike nerds these days would be like rolling through PG in a Rolls Royce. It would go over like a wet fart in church.
